These terms are a contract between you and voidani ("we", "us"), the operator of voidani.com. By using voidani you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
voidani is strictly for adults. You confirm you are 18 or older every time you enter. If we believe you are under 18 we will remove your access without notice and without warning.
voidani pairs you with strangers for one-to-one text, photo and voice conversations, and video calls on a paid plan. Conversations are anonymous. We do not verify anyone's identity, age, gender or anything else they tell you. Treat everything a stranger says as unverified, because it is.
You must not use voidani to:
Photos are view-once: the file is deleted from our servers when the recipient opens it. We also scan photos before they are delivered and block ones that break these rules.
We cannot stop the other person photographing their screen with another device. Nothing technical can. Do not send anything you would be harmed by if it were kept.
voidani may offer AI companions — automated conversation partners — when nobody is available, or when you choose one. They exist because a chat service with nobody in it is no use to anyone at 3am.
You will always be told. An AI companion is labelled as AI in the conversation itself, every time, not only here. If you are not shown that label, you are talking to a person.
Rooms are shared spaces. Everyone in one can read everything you say there, and your display name is shown beside it. Do not say anything in a room you would not say to a crowd. Room messages are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
Rooms are text only — you cannot send images in one, and nobody can send them to you.
An automated moderator reads every room message. If it judges one to break section 3 it removes the message and warns you. After three warnings, or immediately for threats or anything involving a minor, you are removed from that room for 48 hours. Other rooms and your private chats are unaffected. It can get this wrong; email support@voidani.com if you think it has.
You can ask another member to stay in touch. Requests are only possible between accounts — not guests — and only become a friendship if the other person accepts. Either of you can end it at any time, without telling the other.
Direct messages are private to the two of you and are deleted automatically after 24 hours. They are not an archive and are not backed up. Photos sent in one follow the same rules as section 4: scanned first, opened once, then gone.
You can have a message translated. Nothing is translated unless you ask — by tapping translate, turning it on for a conversation, or switching on automatic translation in Settings. When you do, that message is sent to our AI provider and the translation comes back.
Translations are produced by a machine and will sometimes be wrong, particularly with slang, jokes and sarcasm. The original is always one tap away, and it is the original that counts. Do not rely on a translation for anything that matters.
Anyone can report a conversation. We review reports and may suspend or permanently remove an account. We may do this without notice where we believe there is a risk to someone's safety. We are not obliged to explain a decision, but you may contact us at support@voidani.com to dispute one, and we will look again.
Voidani+ is a recurring subscription. It renews automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account, taking effect at the end of the paid period. Prices include VAT where applicable.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service for a refund. By starting a subscription you ask us to begin immediately and accept that you lose that right once the service has been supplied in full. Outside that, refunds are at our discretion, and we will not refuse one where the service did not work.
What you write and send stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to transmit it to the person you are talking to, and to store it briefly for that purpose and for moderation. We do not use your messages or photos to advertise to you, sell them, or train models on them.
We provide voidani as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, or that you will find someone to talk to. We may change or withdraw features.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for what other users do or say, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £50 if you paid us nothing.
If you are a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights, and nothing here affects them.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use voidani after that means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of where you live, and may bring proceedings there.
